Aloha nō!
I'm Larissa and I am a Native Hawaiian psychologist in private practice on the North Shore of 'Oahu, but you can also call me a shell-lover, a hula practitioner, or a karaoke enthusiast! I help people move from feeling stuck in what has happened to feeling more connected to who they are and what is possible next.
A place to find your way back to yourself...
Sometimes life leaves us feeling like we've lost a part of ourselves. We may be carrying the weight of anxiety, struggling with depression, trying to make sense of painful experiences, or questioning who we are after a relationship has shaken our sense of trust and security. Even when we keep showing up for everyone else, we can feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward.
My work is about helping you find your way back to yourself.
I work with people navigating depression, anxiety, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences, as well as those facing the deeply personal impact of betrayal in a long-term relationship. For partners who have discovered infidelity or sexual behaviors that have changed the foundation of their relationship, the path forward can feel especially complicated. You may still love your partner and want to stay, feel uncertain about what you want, or find yourself somewhere in between. You don't have to have all the answers before beginning this work.
Together, we'll make space for what you've been carrying, understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and build a stronger connection with your own voice, needs, and sense of direction. My hope is that you begin to feel more grounded in who you are, more confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges, and more open to possibilities that may feel out of reach right now.
Healing isn't about becoming someone else or having every part of life figured out. It's about feeling more like yourself again, with greater clarity, freedom, and hope for what comes next.
As someone who loves working with our local community, I'm also continuing a personal and professional journey toward re-indigenizing my practice. I'm exploring what it means to bring more of our cultural wisdom, connection to place, relationships, and ways of understanding well-being into the work I do. For me, this is an ongoing process of learning, listening, and reconnecting with what supports healing in a way that feels meaningful and rooted.
Wherever you find yourself today, you don't have to know exactly where you're going to begin. We can start where you are and work toward a life that feels more connected, more intentional, and more your own.
